ROSY SALON SOFTWARE SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline is October 1, 2023
Two $250 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled in a cosmetology, barber or esthetics program in the US or Canada resulting in a cosmetology, barber or esthetics license. To show their dedication to diversity, inclusivity, and bettering the lives of others, Rosy Salon Software is awarding at least half of all scholarships to minority students.
Two (2) scholarship recipients will be chosen and notified by email. Scholarship funds awarded must be used within one year of being awarded.
All scholarships are funded by Rosy Salon Software administered by the Professional Beauty Association Foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final.
PBA LIFETIME MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline is March 31, 2024
Five scholarships valued at $1,000 will be awarded in 2024.
Scholarships will be awarded to current PBA Licensed Professional and Student Members to use towards continuing education or cosmetology school
Five (5) scholarship recipients will be chosen and notified by email. All scholarships are funded by The Joseph L Weir Trust and administered by the PBA Charities. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final. Scholarship funds awarded must be used in 2024.
PBA honors Lifetime Members is through educational scholarships. These scholarships celebrate the spirit of commitment to the association, which has been demonstrated by the Lifetime Member through fostering the advancement and education of individual members.
The PBA Lifetime Member Scholarship is made available because of the Joseph L. Weir Trust.
MILADY RISE SCHOLARHIP
Application deadline is November 15, 2023
Ten (10) – $500 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled in school (5) and active licensed professionals (5).
Ten (10) scholarship recipients will be chosen and notified by email.
Scholarship funds awarded must be used within six months of being awarded
Applicants must be Milady RISE Certified in Client Well-Being & Safety (students at Milady RISE Partner schools get free access)
Must be currently enrolled in school (and in good standing) or a licensed professional currently working as a beauty/wellness professional
Must be a Cosmetology, Nail Tech, Barbering, Esthetics, and Massage student or licensed professional
All scholarships are funded by Milady and administered by the Professional Beauty Association Foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final.
